Skill engineering for AI agents

Watch it once.
Keep the skill forever.

Great techniques are trapped inside tutorial videos. I press them into skill files: one markdown file your AI agent reads and permanently knows the technique. No rewatching, no re-prompting, no losing it when the session ends.

The press

  1. 1A video goes in. YouTube or TikTok. The pipeline pulls the transcript, captions, and key frames.
  2. 2The technique gets pressed. A frontier model distills the actual method: the steps, the numbers, the gotchas. Not a summary, a playbook.
  3. 3I test it before it ships. Every skill runs on a real task first. If it does not produce, it does not go on the shelf.

The result is one markdown file. Drop it into your skills folder and Claude Code (or any agent that reads instructions) knows the technique in every future session. This practice has a name: skill engineering. You could do it yourself. The shelf exists so you do not have to.

Fair questions

Could I just make these myself?

Yes. Paste a transcript into Claude and ask for a skill file, it works. The shelf is not selling the button, it is selling curation and testing: I find the videos worth pressing, press them properly, and run each one on a real task before it ships. You pay to skip that hour, eleven times and counting.

Which agents do these work with?

Built for Claude Code skills first. But a pressed skill is plain markdown instructions, so Cursor rules, custom GPTs, and anything that accepts a system prompt or instruction file can use them.

What about the video creators?

Every skill names, credits, and links its source video, and pressed skills send viewers back to creators. If you made one of the source videos and want your pressing featured, removed, or revenue-shared, write me through the form and pick Something else. I answer everything.

Is a skill just a summary?

No. A summary tells you what the video said. A skill tells your agent what to do: steps, exact settings, code, and the gotchas. Download a free one and judge for yourself.

Refunds?

If the library is not useful to you, reply to your receipt within 30 days and I refund it. No forms, no questions.
